BASIC REQUIREMENT(S):
Degree:
behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
OR
Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: This experience is related to the work of the position and equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal service as described in the vacancy announcement.
Examples Include:
Providing case management services for substance use disorder/chemical dependent patients by proactively coordinating, facilitating, and advocating the seamless treatment service delivery and other related services needed.
SELECTIVE FACTOR:
Ability to show evidence of possession of one of the following issued by a U.S. State or Territory.
LPA - Licensed Psychological Associate OR LCWS - Licensed Clinical Social Worker OR LPC - Licensed Professional Counselor ORLCAS - Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist OR CP-Clinical Psychologist.

This position has an education requirement.

Per IHS policy (SGM IHS selectees to positions located in Federally operated hospitals, health centers, and clinics must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 before entry on duty or have IHS approve a medical or religious exemption. Federal Employees earn annual leave at a rate (4, 6 or 8 hours per pay period) which is based on the number of years they have served as a Federal employee.

This credited service can be used in determining the rate at which they earn annual leave.This position is covered by a Bargaining Unit.
