    We are partnered with a moving and storage company hiring for a CDL A The driver will be responsible for safely transporting goods, furniture, and household items between locations, providing exceptional customer service, and adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. This is a direct hire position. Medical benefits are offered after 90 days.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
    2. Load and unload items onto and off the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and secure placement to prevent damage during transit.
    3. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and special requests.
    4. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers courteously, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
    5. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition, reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
    6. Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety guidelines while operating company vehicles, including maintaining a safe following distance, obeying speed limits, and using turn signals and other indicators appropriately.
    7. Handle paperwork and documentation accurately and efficiently, including delivery receipts, invoices, and customer signatures.
    8. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, both inside and out, to present a professional image and ensure a safe and comfortable working environment.
    9. Assist with loading and unloading storage containers, crates, and other items, as well as staging at warehouse facilities and customer locations as needed.
    10. Follow company policies and procedures regarding vehicle maintenance, safety protocols, and customer service standards.

    Qualifications:

    • Valid CDL A driver's license with a clean driving record.
    • Previous experience as a driver, preferably in the moving or transportation industry.
    • Ability to lift and carry heavy items, bend, stoop, and climb stairs as needed.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
