Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Estimator who can accurately estimate the costs of electrical projects across both commercial and residential sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing competitive bids, analyzing project requirements, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure the successful completion of projects.

• Review project specifications, blueprints, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial and residential electrical projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
• Analyze project scope, identify potential risks and opportunities, and propose value engineering solutions.
• Obtain competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers for materials, equipment, and services.
• Prepare detailed bid proposals, including breakdowns of labor, materials, equipment, and other costs.
• Present estimates to clients, participate in negotiations, and address any questions or concerns.
• Monitor project costs throughout the bidding process and provide updates to stakeholders as needed.
• Stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and local building codes and regulations.

• At least two years experience as an Electrical Estimator in both commercial and residential construction.
• Field Electrical experience
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and standards applicable to both sectors.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting commercial and residential blueprints, specifications, and technical electrical documents.
• Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple estimates simultaneously.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members.
• Proficiency in estimating software
