Position Summary# The Infection Control Practitioner provides medical direction to the Infection Prevention Programs by taking a leadership role in promoting programs and processes that reduce the risk of acquiring and transmitting infections among patients, physicians, employees, and visitors.
The Infection Control Practitioner creates and environment for innovation and success of the Infection Prevention Program and in accordance with the objectives and policies of the Medical Staff Bylaws, Accreditation Agencies, Infection Control Committees, and the hospital system.
