- You will be responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.

Job Summary and Qualifications
The newly renovated Intermediate Care Unit is a step down unit that provides care for patients that are not usually stable enough to be on a general medical-surgical floor, but they do not require the rigorous observation and treatment from the ICUs. RNs on this unit experience a setting similar to that of an ICU floor and work patients that have higher level of care needs such as cardiac drips, some insulin drips and traches. If you are looking for the next step in your career or want to work towards transitioning to the ICU, then this is the unit for you
