- Demonstrates knowledge and skill in the specialist therapy area; holding the relevant certificate or license
- Establishes goals for the therapy program appropriate to the setting and the students served
- Demonstrates knowledge of district, state, and federal regulations and guidelines
- Demonstrates knowledge of resources, both within and beyond the school and district
- Plans the therapy program, integrated with the regular school program, to meet the needs of individual students
- Develops a plan to evaluate the therapy program
- Pre-employment physical exam
- Pre-employment Tuberculosis test
- Illinois State Board of Education certifications registered in Will County, Illinois
- Official College/University transcripts with conferred degrees
- Criminal justice fingerprint /background clearance
