    About the Role: Steven Winter Associates, Inc. (SWA) is seeking a Proposal Coordinator to play a pivotal role on the Accessibility Services team. In this position, you'll assist with all aspects of the proposal process and provide essential administrative support to the team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication, strong organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail in a collaborative environment. The coordinator may also work directly with clients, as necessary. **As part of the application process, a writing sample will be required.

    The proposed annual salary range for this position is $70,000-$95,000 based on a 40-hour work schedule. The final salary will vary depending on confirmed job-related skills and experience.

    Primary Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    1. Function as a central hub and contact for proposal requests.
    2. Collaborate with team staff on all aspects of proposal coordination, including but not limited to proposal writing.
    3. Create, maintain, and prepare qualifications.
    4. Collaborate with Marketing team, as necessary, to create/update marketing collateral for the Accessibility team.
    5. Coordinate with Contracts team, as necessary.
    6. Write project descriptions and other aspects of proposal responses, as needed.
    7. Actively seek out and monitor RFP sites and other websites for opportunities.
    8. Enter quotes, opportunities and project requests into Dynamics, CRM.
    9. Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and project teams via the appropriate communication channels.
    10. Provide feedback to improve processes and team efficiency.
    11. Coordinate presentations, as necessary.
    12. Participate in business development activities, as needed.
    13. Provide administrative support and organization for the Accessibility team, as required.

    Qualifications: Below is a list of the minimum requirements for the position:

    • Bachelor's degree is required, or equivalent experience in the architectural, engineering and construction space.
    • 2-5 years relevant proposal coordination experience.
    • Proficient in using all MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
    • Familiarity with various types of proposal responses including RFPs, corporate templates, AE Forms, and SF330.
    • Experience in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction industry.
    • Demonstrate strong organizational and coordination skills. Efficient time management skills.
    • Capable of interacting and collaborating with staff and management across all levels.

    Bonus Qualifications:

    • Experience with Dynamics CRM.
    • Advanced Excel knowledge.
    • Ability to read architectural drawing sets.

    Travel Required: No overnight travel is anticipated for this position. Some occasional local day travel may be necessary.

    Working Environment: This position is considered hybrid with 3 days per week in our New York, NY or Norwalk, CT offices and 2 days working remotely.
