    Vesta, Inc. is a not for profit, financially sound, mental health company which is expanding throughout the Maryland area. Vesta, Inc. provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare to include clinic, day program, and residential homes for those suffering from mental health disorders.

    Vesta, Inc is seeking a Community Housing Coordinator for our location in Forestville, MD. The Community Housing Coordinator will provide total coordination of service related to Vesta's residential group homes and supervision to the Community Housing staff. The position is responsible for ensuring that residential properties meet the standards defined by the organization for cleanliness, safety, transportation, and supplies. This position directly supervises staff ensuring the homes meet the client's level of need, their treatment plan goals, and organizational requirements.

    Hours for the position are Monday through Friday Full time, with availability needed during evenings and weekends as needed.

    Requirements:
    • Education: Bachelor's degree in health and human services Field or 4 years comparable experience.
    • Experience/Requirements: Experience in residential setting in a similar or related capacity. Valid driver's license, clear driving record, and reliable transportation.
    • 3 years supervisory experience preferred.
    • Equivalent qualifications may be given consideration provided education and experience is commensurate with the responsibilities of this position.
    • Ability to pass background check and drug screening.


    Responsibilities:
    • Ensures direct care staff are employing the most effective treatment for clients.
    • Develops activities and groups provided by the program and modifies as necessary to support the client's treatment/rehab plans, needs, requests, and satisfaction.
    • Participate in the hiring process through interviewing and making hiring decisions.
    • Ensure all staff are compliant with documentation and training, implementing appropriate coaching and disciplinary actions.
    • Coach and train staff to maintain a person-centered approach in client care.
    • Ensure that homes meet the standards defined for comfort, cleanliness, and safety. Ensure adequate supplies (emergency food, medicine, first aid, etc) are available in quantities as defined by the organization.
    • Ensure staff maintain regulations related to medication monitoring, logging, and documentation. Review medication documentation in the homes for compliance.
    • Compile monthly reporting on van logs and ensure van inspections done as required.
    • Cultivates an environment where staff members respect and adhere to company standards of integrity, cultural awareness, and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices; developing consequences for violations or non-compliance; and supporting the Open Door Policy.


    This position is exempt, full time, and participates in a bonus compensation plan.

    Base salary is determined by experience, licenses, region size, and degree. Assuming base minimum requirements are met, base salary begins at $60,790. Salary can increase based on education, supervisory experience, and program size.
