    100% Remote Position

    Our client, a leader in their industry, has an immediate need for a Senior .NET Developer to work on a 12 + month project.

    Responsibilities of the Senior .NET Developer:
    • As a team member, you will be involved in defining solutions, estimating effort, and collaborating with other team members to deliver mission-critical financial software supporting a variety of Federal, State, and Local government agencies
    • Participate in team activities (i.e. Sprint Planning, Story Grooming, Sprint Retros, etc.)
    • Use DDD to build REST APIs as Microservices which utilize Masstransit, RabbitMQ, and Azure Service Bus
    • Work with Docker containers and Azure pipelines
    • Design and develop applications using .NET Core, C#, Angular, and REST technologies
    • Support existing MVC and WCF based applications
    • Facilitate technical discussions and provide alternative approaches to arrive at the best solution for the team
    • Mentor Junior Developers to apply best practices and produce quality code
    Requirements of the Senior .NET Developer:
    • 5+ Years Experience software development utilizing .NET 4.7 or later, C#, Entity Framework or Dapper
    • Experience with MVC Applications, MS SQL Server 2012+ , Visual Studio Team System, and Team Foundation Server, Azure Devops, and git
    • Highly proficient in Domain Driven Design
    • Strong understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns
    • 3 years of Agile Scrum
    • 3+ Years experience developing Unit Tests using nUnit, MSTest or a similar framework.
    • Mentorship, willingness to help junior team members
    • Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident that has resided in the United States for at least three years due to US Federal Government security requirements
    Preferred Skills:
    • Docker with Kubernetes and Azure pipelines
    • MassTransit, RabbitMQ, and Azure Service Bus
    • Knowledge of the orchestration-based Saga pattern
    • Financial services industry experience, preferably in a transaction processing environment
    • Experience migrating .Net applications to Azure using PaaS technologies
    • Secure Development Practices
    • Modern Angular frameworks
    Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
