    We're growing rapidly and are searching for an Investigations Specialist on the Game Integrity team to help us create world-class experiences for our customers. Through trend analysis and logging you will collaborate with team leads and make a real impact to ensure the integrity of DraftKing peer-to-peer game ecosystems is maintained. You'll work alongside our Risk Analytics, Customer Experience, and Legal departments to monitor and detect non-compliance with fair play rules via the DraftKings Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, and contest rules.
    What you'll do as a Investigations Specialist

    • Support the discovery, containment, and prevention of peer to peer transactional activity determined to be unpermitted, inclusive of collusive play risk mitigation.
    • Conduct and interpret peer reviewed proactive investigations and reactive escalations of transactions that have the potential to impact game integrity across core verticals, ensuring DraftKings fair play commitment for all customers within game ecosystems is upheld.
    • Interpret datamined insights via SQL queries & data visualizations to document investigative outcomes, and guide the business.
      Provide recommendations supported by data that propose new investigative alerts and internal controls that support internal risk mitigation programs.
    • Monitor for compliance with DraftKings Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, and game rules inclusive of all policies and applicable regulations.
    • Report on emerging risks, regulatory changes, and customer community behavioral trends.
    • Represent DraftKings accurately, diplomatically, and empathetically in customer communications.


    What you'll bring

    • At least two years of relevant experience working in e-commerce or the field of game protection/anti-cheat. Financial investigative experience, or prior field that incorporates gaming regulations a plus.
    • A strong understanding of ecommerce or gaming transactions, geolocation and payment processes. Subject matter expertise in iGaming customer experiences is suggested.
    • Excel at written and verbal communication, fueled by a desire to participate in cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders.
    • Self-motivated, analytical, critical thinker with autonomous attention to detail.
    • Ability to execute SQL queries to build investigative case routines. Basic database (SQL, Snowflake) query editing experience is preferred.
    • Intermediate Google Sheets or Excel formula creation experience preferred.
    • Competence with Zendesk or other case management product suite, and Google G Suite is required.
    • A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred but not required for well qualified applicants.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $64, $96,000.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
