The Cornell Cooperative Extension of Cattaraugus County has an opening for a full-time 4-H Youth Development Educator based in Ellicottville NY office The educator will serve as part of the 4 H Youth Development team assisting with delivery evaluation of educational programs activities They will coordinate deliver program objectives plans areas programming emphasizing science technology healthy lifestyles life skills workforce preparation community service leadership The educator must clearly communicate English have ability work flexible hours evenings weekends travel meet requirementsResponsibilities
- Deliver high quality established educational programs events addressing local regional statewide priorities emphasizing club management livestock Ag Literacy county fair facilitation public presentations life skills workforce preparation community service leadership assist delivering innovative educational methods audiences direct teaching group experiences media newsletters electronic technology internet distance learning utilize existing resources materials foster acceptance strong consideration needs experiences all participants provide efforts via mass media contributing articles newsletter emails phone messages website postings interact represent CCE professional manner at times represent before public leaders government officials Cornell land grant universities timely reporting expenses marketing Cooperative Extension programs duties assigned conduct programming activities accordance applicable federal state local laws regulations aware adheres established policies procedures processes Skills Success maintain regular predictable attendance punctuality ensure confidentiality sensitive information staff volunteers participants times prepare submit accurate expense reports mileage reports receipts supporting documentation vouchers timely manner policy procedure.
