- Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions.
- Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner.
- Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly.
- Process payroll in a timely manner.
- Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed.
- Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis.
- Maintain the chart of accounts.
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.
- Update and maintain Business Intelligence Reporting Tool.
- Issue timely and complete financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget.
- Manage the Sales and Use Tax software and maintain the integration with the accounting records.
- Work closely with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations. Prepare and submit necessary tax filings and documentation.
- Assist in annual insurance renewals application process.
- Report sales to vendors as requested by VP-Operations and Business Development.
- Handles accounting questions and requests by customers and resolves issues as needed.
- Maintain personnel records as necessary in coordination with the company Human Resources coordinator.
- Participate in the annual employee benefits renewal.
- Projects as requested by VP Finance/CFO.
