    Valmet is looking for a Product Manager responsible for applying roll services and an understanding of Valmet's broader technology offerings to find customer solutions while working in the energy and spare parts industry with a strong focus on pressure parts.

    Providing the best customer solutions, developing growth targets within each area, and ensuring the product presentations are tailored to the specific needs of our customers.

    The candidate must have a technical understanding of our covering and mechanical offerings within the roll service group.

    This position is unique in the fact that it will require both significant interactions externally with customers for solution generation and significant interaction internally, defining specification and scopes.


    Responsibilities also include project development, reviewing technical specification and drawings, providing technical support, and assisting sales with troubleshooting roll service items.

    Regional responsibilities in the south, but some national or international travel will be required based on training needs or personal expertise.

    Generating and/or proposal drawings, graphs, simulations and/or specifications and assist with quotes.
    Supporting Engineering and Inspectors/drafters with applying the latest Valmet technology.
    Develop and maintain strong technical competence in roll technology; this will include training responsibilities for internal and external customers.


    REQUIREMENTS :
    Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Sales experience in a manufacturing setting is a desired skill set to ensure success in this position.


    You should have a good understanding of paper machinery and have a strong knowledge of Roll related products and technologies with the ability to translate strategy into meaningful actions.

    Travel required for this position.
