Job Description
Ridgepost Capital is seeking a professional to lead our firmwide Public Affairs strategy. This candidate will focus on brand strategy and corporate communications, and will be responsible for working closely with our Investor Relations team as well as our Global Client Solutions business. She/He will work closely with senior management and Ridgepost's investment strategies to align messaging firmwide, and to create and execute a marketing and communications strategy, coordinating across the strategies to ensure a cohesive narrative. This candidate will also be responsible for overseeing website content, social media campaigns, and coordinating cross-functional communications. In addition, she/he will lead digital marketing efforts, media relations, and both internal/external communications.
Additionally, this candidate will be expected to collaborate with and maximize Ridgepost's underlying investment strategies, their communications functions, and external agency partners to activate a holistic marketing approach across various communication channels.
These types of communications may include, but are not limited to:
- Press releases
- Firmwide announcements and events such as Town Halls
- Webinars/webcasts
- Senior leadership events
- Executive Team messaging
- Ad hoc organizational updates
Job Requirements & Qualifications
Ridgepost Capital seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, have sound judgment, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition to strong analytical and time management skills, the successful candidate must have the following qualifications:
- Team player – must contribute to a collegial, team-oriented work environment
- Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience in public affairs, public relations, marketing, or communications
- Ideally inclusive of work experience in alternatives, with a focus on private equity, private credit, and/or venture capital strategies
- Effective at leading, influencing and communicating with all levels internally and externally
- Superior verbal and written communicator who can effectively toggle from teamwork to independent execution
- Product knowledge: become an expert on Ridgepost Capital's product offerings and capabilities
- Commitment to intellectual honesty, integrity, and adherence to the highest ethical standards - trustworthy, adaptable, resilient, and transparent
- We estimate the job will entail some travel to strategy offices, estimated at 20%
- You will report to the CAO and Global Head of Client Solutions

Expected annual base salary range:
$200,000 - $250,000
**You may be required to obtain certain securities licenses if you are in a client-facing role and/or if you are engaged in the following:
- Attending client meetings where you are discussing Ridgepost Capital products and/or and client questions
- Marketing Ridgepost Capital products to new or existing clients
- Structuring or creating Ridgepost Capital Funds/products
- Advising on marketing plans prepared by a sales team or developing and/or contributing information for marketing materials
