    Hiring an Certified Medical Assistant, LPN, or RN for the Horn Physicians Clinic in Mapleton. Full time, Monday-Friday, day hours. Duties to include:

    • Review list of patients scheduled for the day and becomes familiar with their history and diagnoses.
    • Performs assessment of scheduled patients and obtains appropriate vital signs.
    • Coordinates with physician and patient any outpatient services or referrals to outside physicians/entities.
    • Screens incoming patient calls and intervenes appropriately within limits of knowledge and medical practice policy.
    • Performs phlebotomy

    Education: Graduate of approved Medical Assistant, LPN, or RN program with current Iowa licensure. BLS certification required. Prefer one year of experience, but will train.

    Applicant must pass background check, drug screen and health assessment including applicable vaccinations prior to hire. Position open until filled.
