    Job Title: Data Architect

    Location: Chicago IL (Onsite from Day 1)
    Duration: 12+ Months


    Role Specific Responsibilities Include:

    • 10+ years of experience in implementing large data and analytics platforms.
    • 5+ years of experience in architecting and building data platforms on Azure.
    • Proficient in all Databricks engineering services including Unity Catalog, Spark Jobs, Delta Live Table (DLT), and more.
    • Hands-on experience in Databricks SQL, PySpark.
    • Experience in data modeling, mappings, and proposing best practices.
    • Creating technical designs based on end-to-end data architecture and frameworks.
    • Deploying data pipelines/applications using CI-CD pipelines.
    • Expertise in writing technical user stories and working in Agile methodology.

    Communication:

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to lead technical discussions with clients & partners.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Designing Azure Databricks platform architecture from scratch.
    • Developing ingestion, data processing, logging & monitoring, and data sharing frameworks.
    • Sharing Databricks best practices and developing data models.
    • Designing, building, and orchestrating data pipelines.
    • Defining strategies for configuration management and CI/CD.
    • Conducting POCs.
