Code Blue CPR Services, LLC is a leading provider of American Heart Association (AHA) and American Red Cross (ARC) certification courses nationwide. We specialize in CPR AED, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and First Aid training for healthcare providers, businesses, and the community. Our Nashville, TN office is looking for a motivated and professional CPR Instructor with an EMT-B or higher certification to join our team.
Position Overview
The CPR Instructor will be responsible for teaching AHA CPR and First Aid courses, assisting with administrative tasks in the Nashville office, and ensuring all classes meet our high standards for quality and compliance. This role combines hands-on instruction with administrative duties, offering variety in daily responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Instructional Duties:
- Deliver high-quality CPR AED, BLS, and First Aid training to students in accordance with AHA guidelines.
- Prepare classroom materials, equipment, and training manikins prior to each course.
- Ensure all course paperwork, rosters, and eCard issuance are completed accurately and on time.
- Provide a supportive and professional learning environment for students of all skill levels.
Administrative Duties:
- Answer phone calls, emails, and assist with student inquiries.
- Schedule courses and maintain training calendars.
- Assist with inventory management for training equipment and supplies.
- Process student registrations and payments using company systems.
- Help with marketing tasks, such as preparing flyers and managing social media updates.
Qualifications
- Required: EMT-Basic (EMT-B) or higher certification (EMT-P, RN, Paramedic, etc.)
- Current AHA Instructor certification preferred (BLS Instructor); willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient with computers, email, and basic Microsoft Office/Google Workspace applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional demeanor and punctuality are a must.
- Must be able to lift and move training equipment (up to 50 lbs).
Schedule & Pay
- Flexible schedule – daytime, evening, and occasional weekend availability preferred.
- Combination of classroom teaching hours and office administrative time.
- Pay: Competitive hourly rate for office/admin duties; flat rate per class for instructional work.
