POSITION OVERVIEW
The hands-on Shift Manager will oversee daily operations during assigned shifts at our coffee restaurant. This role is ideal for someone with leadership experience in food service who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The Shift Manager is responsible for supervising staff, maintaining quality service, ensuring operational efficiency, and delivering an outstanding guest experience. The Shift Manager role requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often up to eight hours or more during a shift. The position involves frequent bending, reaching, and stooping, as well as the use of hands and fingers to operate coffee machines, kitchen equipment, and point-of-sale systems. Candidates should be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds, such as boxes of supplies or containers of ingredients. The environment is fast-paced and may require multitasking under pressure. Effective verbal communication and visual acuity are important for interacting with customers and ensuring accuracy in food and beverage preparation.
