- Provides neurologic specialized healthcare to individuals and families suffering from stroke and other cerebrovascular disease in both the inpatient and ambulatory setting.
- Assesses and manages the healthcare needs and problems within neurology, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention as well as the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness.
- Functions as part of the provider team to provide care to the departments panel of patients and, may have a defined panel of patients who identify the APRN as their primary stroke specialist.
- Additional opportunities may include aspects of teaching, research/QI, and stroke program growth and development.
- Graduate of an accredited APRN or PA academic program
- National specialty certification
- Eligible for RN licensure in the State of NH (APRN only)
- Eligible for APRN or PA licensure in the State of NH
- Eligible for Federal DEA Registration
- BLS certification
