    Description

    Bodies in Balance is a growing Physical Therapy private practice seeking an accounts receivable billing and coding specialist who is experienced in filing medical claims, working denials, and handling patient collections as well as assisting with provider credentialing. The position is responsible for working with the Revenue Cycle team by assisting submitting electronic and paper claims, patient bills, posting electronic payments, and working with Medicare, Worker's Compensation, and Commercial insurance policies. This position may also require acute attention to detail in assisting with filing for and maintaining up to date credentialing for our providers. Experience in Physical Therapy plus. A courteous and positive attitude is a must as we seek to provide exceptional care to our patients. Practice will allow for remote worksite.

    Requirements:

    Excellent understanding & navigation of medical billing

    Have the ability to work independently

    Must be organized and have strong attention to detail

    Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Problem solver and critical thinking a must

    Evidence of continued learning to stay up to date with evolving billing / coding changes

    Credentialing experience is a plus

    Experience & Education:

    Medical Billing: 3 years (Preferred)

    Credentialing experience (Preferred)

    ICD-10: 2 years (Preferred)

    Medical billing certificate or proof of extensive knowledge and experience

    Compensation:

    Hourly pay rate starting at $18-20 / hour based on experience

    Bonus pay

    Incentive bonuses are additional
