Job description
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in telemetry to provide expert care for adult and geriatric patients in a specialized tele/cardiac unit.
This role requires hands-on experience with cardiac rhythm monitoring and the ability to accurately interpret, measure, and document cardiac rhythms twice per shift.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients in a 16-bed unit with an RN-to-patient ratio of 4:1.
Monitor cardiac rhythms remotely and ensure precise documentation according to departmental protocols.
Engage effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
Adhere to facility dress code by wearing personal scrubs in solid colors.
Uphold all safety and health guidelines, including current COVID-19 recommendations.
Desired Qualifications And Experience
Valid New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate (mandatory for submission).
Proven telemetry nursing experience with strong competency in cardiac rhythm interpretation.
EPIC experience is a strict requirement for this position.
Ability to pass a 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance.
Completion of verifiable training in verbal de-escalation, such as Welle or CPI, as part of onboarding in compliance with facility regulations.

Shift hours and days to be confirmed; requested time off must be declared upfront with no more than 5 days off allowed during the contract.

Facility may cancel shifts with a minimum 2-hour notice.
This position is ideal for experienced telemetry nurses eager to expand their skills in a supportive and engaging environment. Candidates without the New York temporary license or EPIC experience will not be considered. Compliance with all credential and screening requirements is essential.
