    ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Cancer Care are seeking a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join their hematology oncology team in Greenville, NC. The successful candidate will work in the multi-disciplinary clinic for benign hematology patients. Hematology Oncology experience is preferred. New grads are welcome.

    Highlights include:

    • Employment by ECU Health Physicians academic employment model
    • Hospital privileges at ECU Health Medical Center, a level 1 trauma, 974 bed Academic Medical Center
    • Monday-Friday Schedule 4 days of clinic patient time and 1 day of admin time, 8am-5pm, no call
    • Clinical responsibilities will include working with a diverse group of hematology patients including bleeding disorders, hemophilia, iron deficiency anemia and low platelets
    • Additional coverage will be needed in the Day clinic for sickle cell patients
    • Close collaboration with the ECU Health Cancer Care team which includes a multidisciplinary team of specialists including radiation oncologists, hematology oncologists, surgical oncologists, gynecologic oncologist, neurological oncologist, hematology oncology fellows, and patient navigators
    • State-of-the-art equipment including a Gamma Knife, a Cyber Knife, Trubeam Linear Accelerators, 3D Mammography, 3 MT MRI, Ultrasound and a full spectrum of radiology services
    • Established clinical trials program through ECU Health and ECU School of Medicine; Members Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology
    • Established team of experienced nurses and disease specific navigators
    • Referral network includes 29 county area with a population of 1.4 million people
    • Applicants will be required to have BLS certification from The American Heart Association
