Job summary
The Asphalt Plant Operator is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the asphalt plant to ensure safe efficient high-quality production This role involves monitoring plant systems coordinating materials flow performing adjustments maintaining equipment to meet production goals specifications.The individual must have previous knowledge of heavy equipment preferably with experience in operating an asphalt plant The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills The ability to work effectively in a team environment prioritize tasks manage multiple responsibilities efficiently communicate effectively with co-workers supervisors will also be important
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor plant controls to regulate material flow and asphalt production.
- Evaluate product quality ensuring compliance with company specifications standards.
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations maintenance repairs troubleshoot issues promptly resolve them efficiently minimizing downtime on-site emergencies arising during shift hours working diligently under pressure responsibility towards continuous improvement innovation adhering strictly all set parameters protocols safety regulations handling workload escalating issues impacting performance services delivered employees collaborating trusting relationships fostered rigorous evaluations fostering environments conducive excellence sincerity honesty discipline dignity respect empathy inclusivity diversity equity belonging accountability transparency leadership management.
