    Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a Full Stack Developerwith experience in designing and developing solutions within the cloud to support our classified customer in Washington, DC
    Peraton has been supporting our classified customer for 20 years and has a history of supporting building some of the most important & technically advanced applications
    The ideal candidate shall possess experience with the following technologies: Java, Angular, and AWS
    Technology is constantly evolving, and our adversaries are exceeding law enforcement's ability to keep pace in the cyber space
    Those charged with protecting the United States are not always able to access the evidence needed to prosecute crime and prevent terrorism
    Our unique program delivers advanced, technical infrastructure support for our customer and its relative nodes over the world
    The team provides Software and System Engineering, Software and System Development and Operations (DevOps) services, Data Science, Big Data and Entity Resolution Engineering services advanced data discovery, analytics, exploitation, and visualization capabilities through application development and tools integration
    The Full Stack Developerwill be responsible for but not limited to:

    • Be a developer for a new application and work on the front line of the research, development, design, and deployment of a new application.
    • Responsible for designing, testing, coding, and developing solutions to meet customer needs; ensuring software continues to function normally through software maintenance, upgrade, and testing; documenting the application, service, and environment as a reference for future operations and maintenance, including version and platform upgrades.
    • Develop in an AWS cloud environment using cutting edge technology.
    • Responsible for the development of an application that is uses Java (JEE Development) Angular, JavaScript/Application Development, PostgreSQL, Sprintboot and Tomcat.
      This role is approved for Hybrid support, Flexible for occasional telework - must be local to work location Qualifications Required Qualifications
    • Active/Current Top Secret Clearance
    • Bachelor's degree with two (2) - five (5) years of relevant experience; master's degree with zero (0) - three (3) years of experience PhD with zero (0) years of experience, six (6) - nine (9) years of relevant experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree.
    • At least 10+ years of experience with programming and software development including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting and/or upgrading of software systems.
    • At least Two (2) or more years of experience in the following skillset:
    • Java (JEE Development)
    • Strong JavaScript/Ajax Application Development
    • Angular version 2 or above
    • Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA and Spring Security
    • Tomcat
    • PostgreSQL
    • GIT LAB experience
    • Experience in Test Driven Development
    • JUNIT experienceDesired Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree with eight years of relevant experience; master's degree with six years of experience PhD with three (3) - seven (7) years of experience, years of relevant experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree.
    • Experience with Atlassian tools.
    • Experience with Microservices architecture.
    • Experience with building UX-centric web applications that have scaled with increased user-base.
    • Experience working in environments that utilize continuous integration methodologies

    Salary Range Estimates:
    The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees

    Benefits:
    Peraton offers enhanced benefits to employees working on this critical National Security program, which include heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage for you and your dependents, 25 days of PTO accrued annually up to a generous PTO cap and participation in an attractive bonus plan
    Target Salary Range $146,000 - $234,000
    This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors
