    Description

    Overview

    As a Respiratory Care Equipment Technician, you'll be working under the supervision of the Equipment Coordinator of Respiratory Services. Your main tasks will involve delivering, stocking, cleaning, processing, and reassembling respiratory equipment for use by Respiratory Therapists in hospital and clinic areas.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Deliver respiratory equipment and supplies to various hospital and clinic locations
    • Maintain respiratory equipment stock levels in storerooms
    • Count and report on oxygen tank inventory
    • Clean, process, and reassemble equipment such as ventilators
    • Change cleaning agents as needed

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED required
    • Basic proficiency in English
    • Ability to understand technical language
    • Follow instructions effectively
    • Good writing skills for documentation
    • Basic computer skills
    • Physical ability to handle equipment and oxygen cylinders
    • Continuous standing and walking required
