    Description

    Job Summary:
    The position will function as the Bone Marrow and Flow Cytometry Reporting and Accessioning Clerk.

    Duties include but are not limited to:

    accurately type and file Hematopathology reports, addendums and amendments in a timely manner, accession laboratory specimens and verify all samples are labeled correctly, call for missing information not received with the specimen, answers phone calls, pull slides and paperwork for send outs and departmental conferences, pick up slides and/or specimens when called, maintain and organize control accounts and consultation reporting.

    Serve as a back-up for the reporting and accessioning clerk in Cytogenetics.


    Minimum Qualifications:
    High school diploma and two years of administrative experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
