Tact Staff is seeking a Social Work Social Worker for a travel job in Clarksburg, West Virginia.
Job Description & Requirements
IMPORTANT: Fingerprints must be completed in West Virginia at least 7-10 business days prior to start. Traveler must be available to travel to or arrive in WV early to complete these. These must be completed as soon as possible as results can take anywhere from 5-7 days and candidates will not be cleared to start without results on file. This is a West Virginia state requirement with no exceptions. Please ensure your traveler is aware and in agreeance prior to submitting.
Therapist

5x8 Days, Weekends will be required
8:00a-4:30p
Start date: ASAP
Contract length: 13 weeks
Possible extension: Yes, chance to extend or hire perm
Shift schedule: 5x8 Days, 8:00a-4:30p Weekends will be required
Certs required: BCLS, CPI, CPR
CPI/CPR can be obtained during orientation
Experience required: 1+ year
Travel experience: Not required
WV License required (pending license acceptable)
Skills Required: Candidate should have experience in a psychiatric hospital and/or have worked with children and/or adults in an acute or long-term hospital and that have provided therapy. Must have considerable experience in group and individual therapy, treatment planning, and be comfortable working individually with patients in an inpatient hospital setting.
Experience in mental health disturbance and/or dual diagnoses preferred. Therapist having a Social Work Licensure LICSW with Supervisor and/or LPC are preferred.
Candidate may possess any of the listed Certificates, License, or Registration:
Temporary Counseling Permit, Temporary Social Work Permit, LGSW, LCSW, LICSW, Provisionally Licensed Counselor, LPC, Licensed Psychologist. WV License required (pending license acceptable)
Essential Duties:
- Provides individual, family and group therapy for adults, adolescents and children.
- Interviews family members and/or collateral sources for information to complete or supplement the assessment and aid in treatment planning and provides crisis intervention to patients and families in acute distress.
- Establishes and implements therapeutic goals, objectives, and interventions.
- Presents patient information at treatment team meetings for reviews of patient progress and discharge planning procedures.
- Maintains all clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and accrediting standards.
- Provides patient and family education and schedules family meetings and therapy sessions.
- Documents and reports all suspected incidents of abuse and/or neglect in compliance with current regulations.
