    Description

    Fiscal and clerical work performing annual cash handling audits of all Park cash collection points; reviews and approves all Department cash receipt documents and refund requests.

    Monitors and maintains accounting fiscal controls regarding revenue transactions and assists with liability account reconciliations. Assists the Financial Analyst III in the preparation of departmental revenue budgets. Directs and supervises a staff of four Fiscal Specialist II positions in the revenue section.


    QUALIFICATIONS:


    Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification; minimum of three (3) years of experience in bookkeeping or related work.

    PREFERENCE FOR TWO (2)


    YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

    Using an automated financial system (e.g., Advantage) (must specify on application); using a point-of-sale (POS) system (e.g., RecTrac) (must specify on application); using Cash Accounting Receipt System (CARS); using Crystal Reports.


    Also desirable:
    Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel (must specify on application).

    Must pass an examination to enter the fiscal series.
