    DESCRIPTION:


    We are in search of a Senior Estimator with expertise in diverse civil infrastructure work for large bid-build and design-build projects (Underground Utilities, Earthwork & Grading, Maintenance of Traffic, Support of Excavation, Street Improvements.) The role involves collaborating closely with the Vice President of Estimating.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Thoroughly understand contract proposals, drawings, and specifications.

      • Perform quantity take-off for unit price and lump sum project bidding schedules.

      Summarize estimates in Excel format.

      Produce unit price estimates by creating production crews and incorporating specific equipment and materials using project cost software.

      Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, suppliers, and subcontractors.

      Work collaboratively within the estimating team and during joint venture reviews on major projects.


    REQUIREMENTS:
    • BS in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering with 10+ years of preconstruction/estimating experience.

    • Proficiency in civil/site construction, foundation and structural systems, and various building systems.

      • Manage multiple projects concurrently.

      Strong computer skills including estimating software, spreadsheets, bid management, and Microsoft products.

      Organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Resourceful in problem-solving and adapting to new challenges.
    A competitive salary range of $180,000 - $230,000 is offered based on experience.
