Job Summary

A Forensic Pathologist will investigate deaths meeting jurisdictional criteria to establish cause and manner of death.

Responsibilities:

• Perform postmortem examinations for suspicious death cases, such as homicides or infant/toddler cases.


• Rretain samples, specimens, and tissues necessary for analysis, examination, and documentation.


• Prepare detailed technical examination reports using appropriate reporting form and convention.


• 
  
• Maintain records, reports, and other documentation regarding investigations.​​

The position requires Board certification by the American Board of Pathology
and WA MD/DO License,
