    Job Overview: The Front Desk Manager will respond in a professional and courteous manner to arriving, departing, and in-house guests by providing accurate and timely information and services. Respond to inquiries regarding hotel information and guest concerns and supervise the daily operations of the Guest Services personnel. The Front Desk Manager must promote a safe environment to achieve maximum guest satisfaction and financial success.

    Responsibilities:
    • The Front Desk Manager greets guests, completes check-in/check-out procedures for all guests daily, and ensures guests are satisfied.
    • The Front Desk Manager ensures the front desk team is trained on and performs all duties consistently and on time while focusing on the guest.
    • The Front Desk Manager will answer inquiries and accept reservations by accurately communicating hotel rates and information and working with staff to use suggestive selling techniques to sell room rates and increase occupancy and revenue.
    • The Front Desk Manager will always be friendly, cheerful, and courteous.
    • The Front Desk Manager will provide information and assist staff in recommending area restaurants, theaters, activities, etc., to ensure optimum guest satisfaction.
    • The Front Desk Manager will follow up on any complaints/problems a guest may experience in a timely and professional fashion to ensure a quality guest experience.
    • The Front Desk Manager will implement emergency training and procedures to protect the hotel's guests, staff, and company assets appropriately.
    • The Front Desk Manager will ensure proper communication with the team on all hotel activities to ensure guests' needs are being met in a timely fashion.
    • Conduct thorough orientation and supervise training on computer and front desk functions.

    Knowledge/Skills:
    • A minimum of 5 years of hotel management experience.
    • Must have a total understanding of hotel front desk procedures, policies, and operations.
    • Must be able to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service problems, including stressful and highly emotional situations.
    • Must be highly organized and able to pay attention to minute written and verbal details, particularly when performing multiple tasks.
