    Supervisor of Psychosocial Group Programming

    Due to eligible grant funds, this position offers a $2000 hiring bonus.

    The bonus will be paid to the hired candidate half after 30 days ($1,000) and half upon the successful completion of 6 months of work ($1,000).

    Job Scope:

    Oversee and coordinate an intensive group treatment program, providing mental health rehabilitation group services up to 5 days per week to adults with serious mental illness.

    Supervise a team of clinicians to instill hope and provide a full array of group and individual services that promote independence and recovery.

    This position requires 3-4 days per week on-site at Elk Grove office, with capacity for some remote work after orientation period.

    Program Responsibilities
    Coordinate day-to-day clinical and administrative operations and activities of mental health group programming 5 days per week With input from Manager and other group counselors, create and oversee group schedules that assure mental health rehabilitation and recovery oriented programming
    Model and train staff to instill hope, support self-determination and development, and demonstrate a fierce commitment to the Recovery model
    Provide comprehensive support and clinical supervision to a team of 4-8 direct reports
    Review and oversee integrated assessments and treatment plan development (IM-CANS)
    Oversee program and individual performance measures Act as the liaison for group programming for all referrals and coordinate with other KYC departments, including substance use treatment, psychiatric medical providers, employment services, and community-based treatment teams
    Lead/co-lead groups as needed to provide coverage and staff training
    Provide a full range of clinical care to a reduced caseload of clients, including assessment, treatment planning, outreach and therapy services
    Education and Experience
    Masters Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, or counseling
    Preferred Illinois LPHA (as LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW) or eligible for licensure in next 12 months.
    Required supervisory, leadership, and/or program development experience.
    At least 1 year experience providing a variety of treatment interventions to adults with serious and persistent mental illness and experience with group modality
