- BE/BC in CCM by ABA, ABIM, ABS
- Academic experience with the desire to educate medical students, residents and fellows and desire to participate in research
- Experience managing patients s/p heart transplant is preferred
- Experience with mechanical circulatory support devices and VA ECMO is preferredOptional Medical Director (0.2 FTE) Goals/Duties:
- Organizes and coordinates physician services and services provided by other healthcare providers as they relate to cardiovascular patient care.
- Participates in quality improvement programs
- Leads educational programs for healthcare providers
- Academic research interest
- Willingness to mentor junior faculty and be a role model
- Work collaboratively with other medical subspecialties

Are you as equally adept at floating a Swan-Ganz Catheter as you are at managing VA ECMO or an LVAD? Then we encourage you to consider joining the expanding Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit with the University of Arizona & Banner University Medical Group at its Phoenix Campus location.
