- Collaborate closely with federal government agencies, including Army, Navy, DHS, HHS, TSA, GSA, and VA, to understand their specific application migration requirements and objectives.
- Develop comprehensive application migration strategies that adhere to federal regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
- Lead the formulation of application migration blueprints, roadmaps, and execution plans for large-scale government programs.
- Provide technical leadership in selecting and leveraging application migration frameworks across cloud and edge platforms, focusing on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in various application migration strategies, including rehost, refactor, rearchitect, rebuild, and replace, ensuring efficient and successful migration outcomes.
- Expertise in Container Management solutions and Infrastructure as Code practices to facilitate seamless application migration.
- Well-trained in AI-based code generation and migration technologies to optimize and expedite migration processes.
- Extensive experience in migrating applications to cloud at scale and speed, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
- Profound familiarity with Cloud Native Application Development principles, ensuring newly migrated applications harness cloud-native capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate migrated applications seamlessly with existing infrastructure and ecosystems.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in application migration, cloud computing, and edge computing, incorporating relevant technologies into architectural designs.
- Mentor and guide junior architects and technical staff members in application migration best practices.
- Engage with vendors and third-party partners to leverage their expertise in implementing application migration solutions.
- Participate in proposal development and client presentations as necessary
- Active Top Secret (TS) Clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Extensive experience in application migration architecture and execution and proven experience collaborating with federal government agencies, including Army, Navy, DHS, HHS, TSA, GSA, and VA.
- Expertise in at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and strong familiarity with AI-based code generation and migration technologies
- Proficiency in application migration frameworks across diverse platforms and a thorough understanding of Cloud Native Application Development principles.
- Experience with Container Management solutions and Infrastructure as Code practices and extensive experience in migrating applications to cloud at scale and speed
- Experience with mainframe migration and modernization is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and strong problem-solving abilities with adaptability to changing requirements and technologies.
- Relevant cloud and application development certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Developer) are advantageous.
