    Description

    Century Cabinets is hiring a Field Service Technician. Come be a part of a growing organization who is changing the face of the cabinets industry. Century Cabinets is part of Century Holdings and works with professional homebuilders in creating beautiful and functional spaces with quality cabinetry. This position can be based in Lakeland, FL, Cocoa Beach, FL, or any location in this area.

    Summary

    Responsible for field measuring jobs, performing QC audits of completed installs and performing service work. Additionally, responsible for acting as the liaison between Century Cabinets and builders/superintendents to assure excellent communication and customer relations. Is responsible for troubleshooting problems with installers and customers.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Complete punch work, warranty work, cleanup work, finish work, etc. of all installed.
    • Assist with jobsite measurements.
    • Follow up, critique, and inspect installations.
    • Create orders for items needed to complete kitchen installation.
    • Complete Punch List of items to be corrected.
    • Product Inspection Reports on quality issues.
    • Obtain sign offs from customer once job is completed.
    • Provide quality after sales support.
    • Other job duties as required.
    • Perform service work and repairs at the job site as required to complete installations.
    • Perform warranty work as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Ensure installers are working in a safe and professional manner and provide safety training as required.
    Requirements

    Qualifications
    • Clean MVR
    • 2+ years of experience in installing or manufacturing in the kitchen and bath industry required.
    • 2+ years of minor carpentry work required.
    • Basic computer skills in MS Office Software.
    • Thorough understanding of cabinet layout and design
    • Ability to troubleshoot problems
    • Ability to effectively represent Century Cabinets with our customers & sub-contractors
    • Ability to perform carpentry work, cabinet touchups and repairs
    • Able to work in the field in varied weather and jobsite conditions
    • Excellent attitude
    • Excellent teamwork
    • Good communication skills
