    SkyBridge Luxury & Associates is on the hunt for an exceptional Director of Sales and Marketing to lead the charge for a Luxury Resort in the vibrant city of Los Angeles.

    We are seeking a dynamic individual with a proven track record in the luxury hospitality industry, someone who can bring creativity, strategic vision, and a passion for delivering unparalleled guest experiences.

    The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of sales and marketing dynamics, a keen ability to drive revenue growth, and a knack for positioning a luxury resort as a premier destination.


    The Director of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    Direct and manage all group, transient, and catering/banquet sales activities to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets
    Identify new market opportunities, target guest segments, and develop effective sales plans to penetrate those markets
    Lead and manage the sales team, including setting sales goals, monitoring performance, and providing coaching and feedback to ensure the team's success
    Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders/guests, and partners and actively engage in sales activities, including negotiations and closing deals
    Analyze sales data, market trends, and guest feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance sales effectiveness
    Develop rates and deployment strategies through research and analysis of competitive data and mix management

    Conduct daily sales meetings with the team and attend daily business review meetings, weekly strategic sales meetings, management meetings, and other meetings as required/ requested.

    Annually achieve all market segments' budgeted room nights and revenue goals
    Ensure accuracy for forecasting of revenues, monthly reports, and sales budget
    Recruit, direct, manage, train, and counsel sales and marketing teams.
    Assist Sales/Catering/Conference Services in receiving the necessary guest information and closing business, as requested.


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Five to seven years of sales and marketing leadership in similar-sized luxury operations

    Ability to use professional sales techniques to negotiate the best possible terms and conditions that satisfy customer (internal and external) requirements.

    Creates an atmosphere in which timely information flows smoothly throughout the department; possesses exceptional communication skills.
    Experience working within hotel sales operations, managing team members and budgets.

    Ability to translate business needs into what needs to be done; ensures that all work is completed effectively; monitors work progress against schedules and budgets; maintains high-performance standards.

    Understands our competition and knows how to sell against them.
    Possession of an in-depth understanding of global travel in addition to a network of contacts.
    Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.
