    Description

    In this exciting role, you will be vital in our women's health department, providing comprehensive care to women seeking a natural and empowering birth experience. You will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to offer a full spectrum of services, including:

    • Prenatal care: Conducting comprehensive prenatal assessments, monitoring fetal development, and educating patients on healthy pregnancy practices.
    • Labor and delivery: Providing personalized care and support during childbirth, promoting natural birth when possible while ensuring the safety of both mother and baby.
    • Postpartum care: Providing postpartum checkups, lactation support, and guidance on newborn care for mothers and their families.
    • Women's health services: Offering routine gynecological care, including annual exams, contraception counseling, and management of common women's health concerns.

    You are a great fit for this role if you have:

    • An active license as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) in the state of NY
    • Have a NY state Medicaid ID number;
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a CNM in a clinical setting
    • Demonstrated experience in providing comprehensive prenatal, labor & delivery, and postpartum care
    • Strong clinical skills and experience in performing safe and effective deliveries
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering trust and building rapport with patients
    • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment
    • Passion for women's health and a commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
