    Description

    We have partnered with a prominent legal firm that is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer with a keen interest in cloud computing and virtualization to join a team of 4 skilled engineers. This position presents a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned systems engineer or infrastructure specialist to transition into a more project-focused role.

    The selected candidate for this role will have a hybrid work arrangement based in New Jersey. The primary responsibilities of the Infrastructure Engineer will involve the day-to-day management and setup of the firm's IT infrastructure. Additionally, they will actively participate in project assignments (constituting about 80% of the role) to facilitate the firm's migration towards cloud computing and automation. The ideal candidate should possess solid experience in infrastructure build and project management, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments such as network, DevOps, and security teams.

    What Skills Are Required?

    • Strong background in VMware (mandatory)
    • Proficiency in working with Azure (highly advantageous)
    • Hands-on expertise in PowerShell
    • Experience in configuring core Windows services like DHCP, DNS, etc.
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting and managing Cisco-based infrastructure, encompassing tasks such as WiFi, VLAN modifications, and basic TCP/IP setup
    • Experience in administering Microsoft Exchange Online or on-premises
    • Solid track record in deploying and overseeing Windows servers and patches

    An attractive base salary of up to $160,000 is being offered, complemented by a modest bonus and comprehensive employee benefits package.
