    The role of the team leader is to deliver functional results through the integration of technology and people, utilizing the systematic design of processes, workflows, and controls.

    The team leader will ensure that the team gets the job done with excellence; clearly define expectations, measures, and responsibilities with and for each associate; measure results; provide honest, meaningful, and helpful feedback; and hold associates accountable for performance.

    The team leader is responsible for hiring, training and developing associates; for developing an inclusive, team-focused learning environment; for effectively utilizing resources; for continuously improving, innovating and preparing for the future; and for developing him/herself for enhanced contribution within the team leader role.


    This team leader role is an opportunity to join the Security Asset Movement area, with responsibility for the Certificate Processing & Oversight team.

    This team is composed of experienced associates, responsible for processing physical certificates received from clients and branches, providing oversight of key regulatory functions, and providing guidance on crucial firm security policies.

    The Transfer Oversight & Certificate Handling leadership group is supportive, innovative, and adheres to a high standard of excellence to deliver a seamless transfer and certificate processing experience for our branches and clients by pursuing an optimal control environment and connecting to people, processes, and systems.


    Responsibility Summary:

    • Responsible for overall performance of the team including establishing and achieving key performance indicators, key goals and objectives, risk mitigation, and compliance with supervisory procedures and regulations.
    • Full management responsibility for a diverse team of associates.
    • Must have an understanding of the teams functions, processes, and/or systems supported by the team, within 6 months of hire, and be an expert within 12 months of hire.
    • Must be knowledgeable of and responsible for the development and performance of key systems. Must have knowledge of technology and tools available to identify and implement solutions and create process efficiencies for the team in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
    • Must identify, recommend, and implement solutions regarding team processes, systems, regulations, resource allocation, and controls not guided by policies or procedures.
    • Responsible for working with other areas in the firm, vendors, and auditors.
    • Decisions are non-routine and require the exercise of judgment that represents an assumption of business risk. When decisions have significant impact to the firm and our clients, they are subject to review by the Department Leader.

    The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:


    Hiring Minimum:
    $66,379


    Hiring Maximum:
    $109,459
