- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for seniors, including food restriction requirements.
- Discuss adult health and family dynamics with staff and healthcare professionals.
- Design and conduct workshops.
- Create seasonal and culturally relevant menus for Head Start programs.
- Act as a food and nutrition expert for senior centers.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist certification through the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Experience in community programs and adult nutrition.
- Fluency in Spanish is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive), MS Word, and Zoom.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- The ideal candidate should be proactive and have experience working with seniors aged 65 and above.

NY Enrichment Group, which is part of the FSG holding group company, is the primary Health, Wellness, Nutrition, and Education management group for nonprofit social service agencies in the Tri-State region and nationwide. NYEG oversees over 600 diverse programs focused on enhancing health and quality of life through integrated services.
SUMMARY
NY Enrichment Group is looking for a Bilingual Spanish-English Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. The ideal candidate must be passionate, professional, committed to the community, and able to motivate and educate effectively. The Nutritionist will collaborate with NYEG's partner agencies including Senior Living Services and other potential collaborators.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
NY Enrichment Group is in search of reliable, self-motivated, independent, enthusiastic, and fun-loving senior (65+) Nutrition Education Instructors to join the team. The successful candidate will ensure that classes are engaging and enjoyable while providing in-person nutrition education. Lessons will be tailored to meet students' needs, goals, and interests. The instructor should be professional, committed, motivating, inspiring, and educational.
