    Position Overview

    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our client's Corporate Team. In this role, you will play a key part in producing accurate financial information for investors and owners. Collaborating closely with Community Managers and Managing Directors, you will contribute to the success of our client's diverse portfolio.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare monthly financial operating statements
    • Conduct Balance Sheet reconciliation
    • Manage cash flow and perform monthly bank reconciliations
    • Analyze cash flow and client distributions
    • Assist in draw preparation and review budgets for lease-up properties
    • Handle preparation of monthly sales tax returns
    • Support month-end close activities, including auditing property transactions
    • Review general ledger and Accounts Payable coding
    • Perform other duties as assigned by Manager

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
    • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in property management or HOA accounting
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Experience with property management software such as Resman, RealPage, MRI, or YARDI is highly desirable
    • Basic understanding of written and verbal English

    Desired Skills and Experience

    * B.S. In Accounting/Finance or equivalent
    * Preferred - At least 2 years of property management, or HOA experience working with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) to analyze financial information
    * Strong Excel skills
    * Excellent communications skills both verbal and in writing
    * Resman, RealPage, MRI, YARDI or other property management software proficiency highly desirable
    * A basic understanding of written and verbal English
