JOB SUMMARY

Keystone Management is on the lookout for a skilled plumber to join our team at Boston Logan International Airport, working at the airport hangars. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing various plumbing components, from general to complex ones. Tasks involve troubleshooting, installations, repairs, work orders completion, and maintaining all plumbing mechanisms within the hangars.

This role also entails conducting preventive maintenance inspections and repairs, ensuring compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and laws. Additionally, performing essential repairs, maintenance, and replacement of building structures and shop equipment components as required.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Expertise in plumbing troubleshooting and installation.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Execution of service work on HVAC systems, from minor to complex levels.
Maintaining operational shop equipment, following instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and conducting preventive maintenance.
Adherence to established procedures, reading instructions, blueprints, etc.
Full commitment to health and safety guidelines.
Excellent communication skills.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES/LEVEL OF SUPERVISION

This position does not involve supervisory responsibilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION

Mandatory requirements include a Master Plumber License (preferred) or Journeyman License, experience in performing equipment preventive maintenance (PMs), top-notch customer service skills, effective communication, strong problem-solving capabilities, task prioritization skills, attention to detail, High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred certification (ASE), CFC certification being a plus, experience in fitting industrial piping systems with materials like PVC, copper, stainless steel instrument tubing as an advantage.

WORKING CONDITIONS, TRAVEL, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, with additional hours when necessary to meet customer needs. Reasonable accommodations can be arranged for individuals with disabilities. Expected physical requirements include standing for long periods, walking on various surfaces, reaching, twisting, turning, kneeling, bending, squatting, stooping, operating office equipment, computers, tools, corrected vision and hearing, walking long distances at the airport, lifting, dragging, carrying, and pushing equipment up to 75 pounds, climbing ladders, operating under pressure, driving, exposure to mechanical, electrical, and noise hazards, and various weather conditions.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS

Successful completion of a Keystone Management background check, Federal Aviation Administration background check, Boston Logan International Airport SIDA badge and drivers test (within two tries), driving history check, possession of a valid driver's license.
