    Retail Operations and HR Coordinator

    Seeking an experienced Operations and HR Coordinator for a full-time opening in Honolulu.

    This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a retail store, managing human resources activities, and performing light bookkeeping tasks.

    $50,000 to $70,000 a year

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure smooth and efficient store operations by coordinating with various departments, including sales, merchandising, marketing, accounting, and customer service.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to improve store performance and customer satisfaction.
    • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
    • Handle customer inquiries and complaints.
    • Assist in the recruitment and selection process of new staff, including job postings, screening resumes, and conducting initial interviews.
    • Coordinate new employee onboarding, including orientation, training, and paperwork.
    • Maintain employee records, including attendance, leave, and performance evaluations.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
    • Handle employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related matters.
    • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including reconciling daily sales transactions, managing petty cash.
    • Assist in preparing sales reports, expense reports, and payroll reports.


    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in retail operations, HR management, and bookkeeping.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic accounting software.
    • Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Open to entry-mid level candidates at start of the salary range provided who are willing to learn and grow.
