Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced
RN for an Interventional Radiology position at a short-term acute care hospital in Florida, requiring at least 18 months of experience and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a 180-bed short-term acute care hospital
Cath/IR, neuro, and procedural experience are preferred for this role
Charting is done using Epic
Schedule is days, 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00–17:30
Floating is required across all three affiliated hospitals (Martin North, Martin South, and Tradition) within a 20-mile radius
On-call is required approximately once per week and once every six weekends; specific requirements will be discussed during the interview
Block scheduling is not available for this position
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront, as additions after submission are unlikely to be approved
Time-sensitive onboarding modules must be prioritized and completed promptly upon confirmation of assignment
White scrubs are required
Parking is free in any unrestricted space
This is a smoke-free and nicotine-free facility with no exceptions
Requirements
Active FL or compact
RN license required; pending license accepted
Minimum 18 months of
RN experience required; 2 years preferred
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of consideration
NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start
Two professional references required for consideration
Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Must be nicotine-free; a negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine (nicotine) test is required
