Insight Global is looking for a DevOps Engineer for one of our clients. The role will sit in Kennesaw GA, Richmond VA, Chicago IL, or Phoenix AZ on a hybrid schedule. This person will be joining one of the core technology infrastructure teams, specifically supporting their Hosting & Data Center Services team. These SRE's will be responsible for maintaining services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health. Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack: hardware, software, application and network. Perform deep dives into both systemic and latent reliability issues; partner with engineering and operation teams across the organization to produce and roll out fixes. Drive standardization efforts across multiple disciplines and services in conjunction with embedded SREs throughout the organization. Identify and drive opportunities to improve automation for the cloud services. Scope and create automation for deployment, management and visibility of services.

Desired Skills:

Hands on experience developing with and supporting Terraform.

Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack: hardware, software, application and network.

Perform deep dives into both systemic and latent reliability issues; partner with engineering and operation teams across the organization to produce and roll out fixes.

Identify and drive opportunities to improve automation for the cloud services.

Must-haves:

1.) Candidates must have 5+ years of experience working with Unix/Linux Server platforms in a DevOps environment.

2.) Scripting (Shell, Bash, PowerShell).

3.) Experience with whole lifecycle of cloud services--from inception and design, through deployment, operation and support.

4.) Experience using Monitoring tools and solutions - Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.
