    We are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer specializing in analog and mixed-signal circuit board design.

    This role involves translating requirements into conceptual circuits, overseeing PCBA design (including schematic creation and layout), conducting board bring-up, executing comprehensive verification and validation processes, and adeptly troubleshooting and debugging issues.

    Additionally, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external contract manufacturing partners, ensuring seamless communication and the timely release of design prints and documentation.

    Role & Responsibilities:
    What will you do as an Electrical Engineer?

    Design mixed-signal circuit, firmware, and controllers for material metrology systems.

    Write subsystem requirements, design PCBA (Schematic, layout), develop firmware, perform board bring-up, execute verification and validation, troubleshoot/debug and provide solutions to fix issues, work with cross functional team and contract manufacturing vendors, and release design files and documents.

    Help to advance technology with our customers. Work with cross-functional team to brainstorm idea and retire risks, exercise good design practices, and hold design reviews.
    Design high quality products and launch products per project plans.

    Requirements
    Bachelor of Science/Master of Science, Ph.
    D. Electrical Engineering or related fields
    5+ years of industry work experience

    Proficient in using electronic components such as diodes, BJTs, FETs, filters, operational amplifiers, instrumentation amplifiers, ADCs, DACs, microcontrollers, FPGAs, etc.

    within circuit design
    Proficient in conducting board-level (PCBA) analog and mixed-signal circuit analysis and design, encompassing schematic creation, layout, best design practice, DFM and DFT

    Proficient in design and implement electrical design verification and characterization tests with solid understanding of hardware design and manufacturing test parameters.

    This includes generating test plans for functional and verification and validation testing, as well as writing and executing test scripts required for specific test phases, preferably Python
    Proficient in diagnostic and troubleshooting from component to system level debugging and root cause analysis, design failure mode and effect analysis (DFMEA)
    Proficient in PCB CAD tools, preferably Altium
    Proficient in utilizing oscilloscopes, waveform generator and other lab equipment
    Experienced in product life cycle design, encompassing the formulation of system and PCBA requirements, facilitating design reviews, and releasing of design documents via the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process
    Familiar in high voltage circuit and PCBA design, ex. 5KV, 20KV
    Enthusiastic self-starter with a strong drive for learning and goal achievement. Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, committed to fostering effective teamwork and achieving collective objectives
