    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Nurse Practitioner provides clinical care to patients through an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach that takes into consideration all aspects of health. The Nurse Practitioner performs a variety of advanced clinical duties involved in assessing, treating, controlling, and preventing patient illness and disease within the assigned public health nursing program; to perform physical examinations; identify patients with physical and emotional illness; and to administer medications as prescribed.

    What you will be doing

    • Evaluate patient, review medical history, and perform an appropriate physical exam in a medical office setting.
    • Interpret and evaluate patient data as authorized by the physician for the purpose of determining the management and treatment of patients. Assess and diagnose urological conditions. Consult with a physician as appropriate.
    • Prescribe, recommend, and regulate appropriate pharmacologic medicine.
    • Maintain current knowledge regarding options for optimal patient care and outcomes.
    • Document appropriately and communicate with the appropriate physician in a timely manner as required, including, but not limited to evaluations, treatment plans, progress reports, treatment notes, and other reports as requested.

    What you will bring to the team

    • Current NP or PA-C license, Master's Degree in Nursing/Physician Assistant program
    • Current BLS and CPR certification
    • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in a gastroenterology setting
    • Knowledge of ERM systems

    Please note that actual pay will be determined based on the relevant experience and internal equity within the pay range.
