Responsibilities Responsible for complete meal preparation including accompaniments and garnishes Prepares hot entrees soups and vegetables following provided recipes for all dining rooms Café and special functions Does eye appealing tasty food items following recipes provided for preparation plate service of food PM Cook is responsible for kitchen closing procedures Does advance preparation as indicated Completes food quality evaluations temperature checks at each meal Completes preparation records stores food items properly at close of meal service dated labeled Cleans work area equipment used in food preparation as they go Follows safety sanitation rules practices Ensures that all hot food preparation assembling is done in accordance with established procedures according to State Regulations Assumes responsibility self safety immediate work environment Attending annual in service on body mechanics right-to-know laws fire safety procedures Adheres to all Hunt Community Policies Procedures Performs additional duties as assigned Qualifications A strong commitment to customer service Familiarity with privacy laws confidentially preferably in a healthcare medical office setting Ability to set priorities multitask Strong organizational skills Requires high school diploma or its equivalent with years experience field related area Physical demands include but not limited to standing sitting walking carrying kneeling bending lifting up lbs Comprehensive knowledge of food handling techniques Comprehensive knowledge of safety sanitation rules practices Ability to work well independently others directed by kitchen manager Ability read comprehend follow provided recipes
