- Oversees the continuous improvement of financial planning and analysis processes and the development of the staff to provide exceptional financial insight and support to the organization.
- Partners with leaders of the organization to identify and understand business opportunities and challenges, proposes innovative solutions.
- Supports the month-end close process. Analyzes departmental operating results and variances vs. budget, forecast, and prior year. Prepares and reviews journal entries based on analysis performed. Creates insightful materials for business reviews.
- Performs business decision analysis of potential acquisitions, business opportunities, and new investments.
- Develops and enhances financial reporting tools and financial models.
- Responsible for departmental cost accounting for the entire organization.
- Leads and participates in cross functional teams and special projects that support strategic initiatives as assigned.
- Implements, monitors, and evaluates financial planning and analysis policies and procedures, and makes recommendations as necessary.
- Is responsible for the compilation, review, and of the development of all aspects of the annual budget and long-term strategic plans, including operational and capital planning, financial reporting, and development of presentation materials.
- Directly supervises the staff of the financial planning and analysis team. Develops staff; hires, trains, and appraises as required.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA or Master's degree preferred.
5+ years related experience, including 2+ years in a leadership position.
