    Kovalus offers comprehensive solutions for the most challenging applications in food and beverage, life science, and general industrial markets.

    The Accounting Manager, while reporting to the Global Controller, is responsible for the Company's global financial consolidation and financial statement preparation processes and supporting various forms of financial analysis for the ~$250M business.


    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee general ledger reconciliations and lead preparation of monthly financial statements including Management Reporting Package, Bank Reporting, Investor and Senior Management Reporting and other analysis of financial results.
    • Lead or support preparation of KPI's, various daily/weekly/monthly operational dashboards, other reporting and analysis tools to enhance timely business decision making by senior management & functional leaders across all locations.
    • Work directly with various global site accounting and operational teams to complete financial close process in a timely manner, while also fulfilling accounting and finance support needs globally on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
    • Manage Treasury activities for the company.
    • Oversee preparation of payroll, manage A/R and A/P functions.
    • Lead role in managing external independent audit of Company's financial statements.
    • Update/maintain accounting policies & procedures, support strong internal controls & consistent quality of financial results.

    Qualifications:

    • ~7-10 years of extensive financial and accounting experience including direct responsibility for complex, global financial closing, and consolidation processes.
    • Strong accounting and financial acumen including experience interpreting and applying U.S. GAAP and other technical authoritative guidance for financial reporting both domestically and in other countries, as applicable.
    • Highly disciplined individual with strong attention to detail and strict adherence to all deadlines.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency while maintaining accuracy in all financial reporting and analysis requirements.
    • Collaborative and proactive individual with demonstrated ability to interface with various cross-functional teams on a global basis.
    • Team player with high emotional intelligence and ability to work under pressure while multi-tasking and prioritizing various roles and responsibilities.
    • Demonstrated hands-on approach, willingness to do whatever is necessary to fulfill internal and external customers' needs from an accounting and financial perspective.
    • Strong leadership skills with focused commitment to develop direct reports professionally.

    Physical Requirements:

    • No significant physical requirements.
    • Able to walk up flights of stairs in and around Corporate Office or other locations.
    • Periodic air travel may be required to Company locations.
